Coaches Engagement Agreement

Class A Certified Coach

• • Can be any coach as long as class A certified (registered volunteer)

  • Should have some knowledge of sport, not required

Commit to coaching up to 10 athletes

• • No coach should have more than 10 athletes

    • • Coaches can request to coach athlete outside of their county

  • Go over skills rules for sports competition

    • • Rules self-explanatory

  • Coach will be the point of contact to get information to athletes.

    • • Notify staff if an athlete is not responding

Commit to contacting your athletes at least (1) time per week

• • Establish the best form of contact with athletes

    • • Zoom (free account)

        • 2 people unlimited time

        • More than 2 people, 40min limit

      • Facebook Messenger

      • Google Hangout

      • Duo App (Non Apple Products)

      • Text or call

  • Don’t underestimate an athlete’s ability to communicate

Commit to be accessible for the athlete during competition week

• • Make sure the athletes makes their scheduled times if on camera

  • Help submit scores for the athletes if off camera event
