In 2019, I earned my permanent Leadership Quality Standards certification from Alberta, which is a requirement for principals and potential principals.
Since 2011, I’ve been astonished how G-Suite for Education has help changed what collaboration and learning can look like in the classroom. I’m well versed in all G-Suite Apps and have trained teachers and students. I’ve attended workshops and presented at various conferences. I am one of the Super Administrators for G-Suite at Buffalo Trail Public Schools and certified to manage and maintain a G-Suite infrastructure.

At Buffalo Trail, I was given the opportunity to be certified in these VitalSmarts courses.
Influencer Training introduced different strategies to help lead behavioral change within an organization. I often drew upon these ideas when leading culture change in regards to inquiry learning supported by technology.
Crucial Conversations is a course focuses on communication skills when people have varying opinions or something weighty needs to be addressed. This training helped me challenge and support teachers, who were at different stages in their teaching journey.
I'm also certified as a trainer for Tynker and WeVideo. Tynker is a great platform to get students coding.
WeVideo is a cloud-based video editing app that allows students to edit from any device and create amazing videos to help demonstrate learning.
Hapara is a company that offers a learning management platform that can help make it easier to centralize the organization of information and files in Google Drive for students and teachers. I am a certified trainer for the program and coach teachers on the many benefits of using Hapara Workspaces to create a digital space for inquiry and student-centered learning.

The course broadened my mind on what learning can look like and how to be a leader and influence change based on real strategies and data. I still utilize many of the ideas learned and developed during this course.
