There are some prospective disadvantages of EHRs include budgetary challenges, repairing expenditure such as restoration of hardware system and upgrade software, and the charges of EHR acquiring, application, and continuing system check that all are affects finance (Menachemi & Colllum, 2011).
An EHR’s other drawback is that it can cause short-term losses in health care staff and providers by disrupting their work processes (Menachemi & Colllum, 2011).
