SOME RECENT NEWS:January 2026 - My paper "A Multiattribute Decision Model to Evaluate Potential Investments in Near-Earth Object Detection Technologies" (with T. Palley, A. Palley, R. Keeney and M. Juric) has been accepted to Management Science. From this paper, my current Erdos number becomes 3 (previously 4). December 2025 - My paper "Fifty Years of Decision Analysis in Operational Research: A Review" (with E. Borgonovo, M. Knowlton, R. Shachter, J. Siebert, and C. Ulu) has been assigned an issue number in European Journal of Operational Research. This will be in the March 2026 issue of EJOR. [Paper]August 2025 - I am filling in as the area coordinator/chair for the Operations and Analytics area for the 2025-26 academic year at Georgetown.
