Message from the President

It is a privilege to serve as the President of the Home for the Aged and Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla, Jammu—an institution devoted to compassion, dignity, and service since 1964. Our Home is not just a place of residence, but a sanctuary where elderly individuals are cared for with respect, warmth, and a deep sense of belonging.

We are committed to ensuring that every resident receives not only essential support such as food, shelter, and medical care, but also emotional comfort and human connection. With the continued support of our donors, volunteers, and well-wishers, we are able to extend our care beyond the Home, reaching those elderly persons who need assistance within the community.

The interaction between our residents and the younger generation brings renewed energy and joy, strengthening the values of empathy and respect. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to serving with sincerity and compassion, ensuring that our elders live with dignity and care.
