Guest Presenter: Professor Marina Ciccarelli - Dean Learning and Teaching Faculty of Health Sciences, Curtin University, Perth.
She has a strong interest in how emerging technologies can support people of all ages and abilities to participate in meaningful everyday activities. Marina has worked with an interprofessional team at Curtin University’s HIVE (Hub for Immersive Visualisation and eResearch) to co-create a couple of virtual reality resources. In this session she discusses a cooking VR program for clients with spinal chord injury, that was co-designed with a consumer.
GUEST PRESNTER: Erin MacIntyre
Erin who recently completed her PHD and is a Physiotherapist and researcher at UniSA. Presented on a range of VR related research studies she has been involved in. Including use of VR for pain management, increasing exercise and ADL engagement.
