Today I will be showing you some fun resources that the Cincinnati Zoo has created for you to learn about the animals in the zoo.
We will then take a look at the video about Sihil the Ocelot and complete some fun activities to show what you learned about this cool animal.

Today's activity actually has 3 parts to it. K-2 grade is participating in the same viewing portion at 11, so if you have students in multiple grade levels you can all sit down together for this; K-2 grades will meet at 2:00 pm for a different activity.
First, use the following link to conduct research about Paleontologist Diego Pol. Write out some questions that you would ask him if you were given the opportunity. Email the questions to me before 11 am, if possible.

Then, at 11 am, click on the link below to watch the live discussion with Diego Pol on YouTube. I will be a part of the live stream and I may have the opportunity to ask some of your questions to him. Take notes during the interview to help you remember important things that you learn as well as any questions that you think of. (2nd-4th grade should use the Cornell Method for their notes.)

Finally, at 3:00 pm, I will be on to discuss what you learned about Diego from your research and the interview. We will then create a newspaper article that tells about Diego Pol and the work he is doing. Use the attached links as a template/Idea for your article
