Students' Scientific Circle

The Scientific Circle of Veterinary Medics was established in 2013. It aims to familiarise students with routine and innovative methods of diagnostics, prevention and treatment of animals, and issues related to veterinary protection of public health.

On November 19th 2020, the XXV International Conference of Student Scientific Circles was held in Wrocław. The University of Life Sciences in Poznań was represented by the Student Scientific Association of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences.

We are pleased to announce that by the decision of the Commission, the first place in the Session of Fundamental and Popular Science was taken by Ms Hanna Biesiada, a fifth-year veterinary student, who presented a paper entitled: "Occurrence of resistance integrons in E.coli strains present in poultry production". The work supervisor is Dr. Przemysław Racewicz, head of the Veterinary Laboratory for Public Health Protection, WMWZ, University of Life Sciences in Poznań.
