Marie plays violin and piano, and has sung in various choruses throughout her life (including 20 years with the Sheboygan Symphony Chorus). She holds a bachelor's degree in fine art, has worked as a graphic designer, and is currently a licensed piano technician. Marie also enjoys drawing, painting, designing, sculpting, bicycling, walking, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family and friends.
Anne started piano lessons at a young age and discovered her love of singing in school choirs and musicals. She graduated from St. Norbert College where she sang in a number of groups, including the auditioned Abbey Singers. Anne loves her job at Lakeland University as a Director of Development - Major Gifts. She also loves learning about history. She enjoys free time with her husband, Greg, and her daughter, Brynn.
Stephanie currently teaches music at Howards Grove Elementary School. Her biggest passion is singing -- with VOX, her students, and her church choir. Stephanie has sung with large college and community choirs and is now excited to be a part of this small a cappella group! She enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and her children Millie and Milo. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and the Food Network.
While the piano is his passion, Simon also plays multiple instruments: cello, guitar, bass, percussion, and a bit of all the orchestral and band instruments. His favorite composers are Chopin and Debussy. Simon recently graduated from Lakeland University with a degree in music education and now teaches orchestra, band, and jazz at Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
He enjoys traveling, drinking coffee, tuning and repairing instruments, and laughing.
Tammie plays guitar, bass, drum and other percussion, as well as banjo and a few other instruments. She was inspired by her grandmother to appreciate making music, and has from early on had a fascination with the guitar. She sings in her church choir, and has been part of several church related musical ensembles. She is married to her wife Julia, and in her spare time, when not noodling on her guitar, enjoys woodworking, cooking, walking, biking, playing pickleball, studying sound design, and spending time with her family and
friends.
Sophie is a college student majoring in psychology. She took drum lessons for four years and piano lessons for eleven years. She loves to listen to music and has travelled to several states to see concerts. Sophie’s favorite bands include Greta Van Fleet, The Beatles, and Dr. Dog. Sophie has been watching her aunt Marie perform in Sheboygan Light Rail and VOX since she was a newborn.
Sophie enjoys spending time with her family including her two dogs and her two cats. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends, scrapbooking, and walking.
