Your tax dollars wasted

The school district is going under

  • Current spending does not support the students or teachers.

  • Tax money is spent on questionable buildings and updates.

Joan WEiss wasted

$8.2 Million on a new building

Tax money used to build a new building for the board, while A/Cs are left damaged pending repair in our schools.

Joan WEiss wasted $92,000 to repair one elevator

The average elevator repairs cost between $179 and $518. If full replacement is necessary, the price can range from $10,000 to $20,000. What happened to the rest of our tax dollars?

Old carpeting

Our schools classrooms still have the original carpeting from when the schools were built. Some of the carpeting is over 35 years old. Meanwhile, the new district office has been been outfitted with all new furniture and carpeting.

30 year old hvac

  • A/C's have gone years without being replaced.

  • Voters passed a 35 million dollar bond in 2014. Our students suffered in the heat for 6 more years while Joan used our money to purchase and furnish a new district office for the administrators.

  • Parents and teachers were told to provide water bottles to students during the spring and summer months to help combat the heat in the classrooms.
