Welcome Manor ISD community members! Some of you may know me as your child's teacher, as a passionate community member, or even as a dedicated parent, but today I am announcing that I am running to add Manor ISD Place 6 Board Member to the list!

I have worked in education for over 15 years, seven of those as a part of our very own Manor ISD. I hold eight active Texas teaching certifications, including General Education, Reading Specialist, English as a Second Language, and Special Education. I also have my bachelor's degree in Education, master of education in Curriculum & Instruction-Literacy Studies, and doctor of education in Curriculum & Instruction. My experience includes teaching, coaching, and district leadership in culturally and linguistically diverse learning communities. At the district level, I have initiated and overseen programs aimed at increasing access to quality education for underserved communities through robust MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support), developed and facilitated professional learning on instructional best practices, and led data collection and analyses aimed at informing evidence-based decision-making to increase student success.

I am running for our school board because I am committed to creating equitable opportunities for all stakeholders in our district. While this page serves as an opportunity to campaign for this election, my goal is to make it much more than that.
