Piedmont's a great town.

Like many of our neighbors, our family moved to Piedmont 30 years ago to send our two daughters to the public schools.  We had a four year old, a four month old, and a house that needed some work.  Fast forward to today and our daughters have graduated Piedmont High School, graduated college and are both independent, strong young women.  The house still needs some work, though.

My experience can make a difference.

My priorities focus on fiscal oversight, maintaining balanced budgets, and managing city resources responsibly.  I prioritize public safety, and I was proud to cut the ribbon on our new Police and Fire Dispatch Center to ensure quick emergency response times.  I also remain committed to smart planning—navigating state housing mandates while preserving Piedmont’s physical character and historic charm.

As a practicing architect with over thirty years of experience leading Bay Area teams, I bring a collaborative problem-solving approach to the Council.  I leverage my professional background and civic experience to deliver practical solutions.
