I am a brother of Sigma Chi, on the Independent Inter Fraternity Council Executive Board, and on the professional sales team.I am intending to run for senate! The largest thing I want to change is improving the way Greek Life is allowed to participate in philanthropic activity and raise money for charity.

I am a political science and history major and I am specializing in American national security/comparative politics, American history, and European history. Currently I am involved in the following organizations: I serve on the Monongalia County Democratic Executive Committee, I am a SGA senator, I am the Membership Director for the West Virginia College Democrats, and the Parliamentarian for the WVU College Democrats. I am from the small mountain town of Elkins, West Virginia. In my free time I enjoy reading, hunting, fishing, arguing politics, or any number of other activities outside.

I have been involved in many student run organisations in both Housing and Residence Life and with Competitive sports on campus and hope to use SGA as a way to encourage my peers to do the same! Hi everyone! My name is Katie Eyler. I am a junior International Studies major with minors in French, Spanish, and Geography with a focus in International Environment. I am originally from East Greenwich, New Jersey. I work at the Student Rec Center and am a member of the Pride of West Virginia Mountaineer Marching Band, Model United Nations, Peace Corps Prep Program, Education Abroad Student Ambassadors, and Sigma Alpha Iota where I am currently serving as chapter president. After graduation, I hope to attend graduate school for a joint J.D./M.S. in Environmental Law and Marine Conservation. Outside of class and work, I am training for a triathlon, binging the Our Planet Netflix documentaries, and love to have “vegan family dinners” with my friends and roommates.

Hi, I’m Amaya. When I’m not creating my own Vegan recipes, I enjoy working out, annoying my friends, and sleeping. SGA has been a really big part of my college experience thus far. It allows me to work on the things that I am most passionate about diversity in academics, mental health, and overall students experience. My name is Victoria Knotts. I am from North Ridgeville, Ohio which is about 20 minutes from Cleveland. I am currently a senior biochemistry major who is graduating in May. I am planning on continuing my education and getting my masters in health science next year. Following graduation from grad school I hope to attend medical school. I have been an RA on campus for 3 years. My first two years I was in Lyon Tower and now I am an RA in Seneca Hall. I am currently the vice president of RHA. I am also the NRHH representative for WVU's National Residence Hall Honorary. I also work on improving the RA position in my role as sergeant-at-arms in the resident assistant council. In my free time I enjoy running and anything that involves me being outdoors.

Arpan is a Second-year studying computer science with public relations. He has been active in the Mountaineer community through over ten student orgs. Among his favorite orgs are SGA as it gives him an opportunity to make real changes on campus, the boxing club for its supporting and competitive members who challenge him, Latin Dance Club for their killer teachings and fun lessons, and the Indian Student Association as it gives depth to where his parents came from. In his spare time, Arpan likes to provide a helping hand at Animal Friends Thrift Shop and at Christian Help on Walnut. Lastly, through his 20 years of life Arpan might not fully understand the world, but he knows enough to say we all have our part in making it the world we want to live in, and hopefully this is a step in playing his.

I am intending to run for SGA Senate. Throughout the day, you can find me working in Evansdale Crossings at Panini Pete’s! Following my undergraduate, I plan on attending WVU Law in the fall of 2021. I am part of the Nolan Burch Greek Leadership Academy and work with the Greek Life office in improving IFC recruitment. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and spending time working on my family’s farm in Bridgeport.

Hello! My name is Sarah Zanabli and I am a sophomore majoring in Biology and minoring in Nutrition and Medical Humanities. I grew up in Charleston, WV and I identify myself as a Muslim Syrian-American. I am a certified peer advocate and I am on the exectuive board of several students orgs like Muslim Student Association, Medlife, and RAM club. I plan on attending dental school and getting a masters in public health, however I also dream of starting a modest fashion boutique and I would like to work with global medical relief organizations in the future.
