Excellent mouser
Naughty little bird murderer
Thomas isn’t our cat—he just showed up at my grandparents’ house one afternoon and never left. No one knows where he came from or how old he is. We even scanned him for a microchip and didn’t find one, and after asking around the neighborhood with no one claiming him, we figured he simply decided this was home.
He’s the sweetest boy. He loves to snuggle up on your lap and will purr very loud. He’s great with the kids and has no problem making himself comfortable wherever he pleases. Our dogs are completely obsessed with him, but he wants nothing to do with them 😂. He keeps them in line with a few well-timed bats from his paws.
When he’s not lounging around or supervising from the porch, Thomas is usually off hunting. His favorite targets are small birds—much to my grandma’s frustration. She wishes he’d stick to catching mice and gophers instead.
You’ll often spot him in the background of the dogs’ photos since I take most of their pictures on my grandparents’ gorgeous property. Thomas has definitely made himself part of the family… whether anyone invited him or not.
