The Pre-K/K New Beginnings Breakfast is an event for our Pre-K/K parents to attend after dropping off their children on the first day of school.  A light breakfast is served and parents are given time to meet other families and hear from our Parent Organizations and Lower School Administration. 

The Lower School Book Fair is held to raise funds for the Lower School Library.  Each year volunteers decorate the halls of the Lower School with a different theme, and the students are invited to dress up accordingly to celebrate the opening of the Book Fair.    

Lower School Book Fair Opening Night Family Dinner kicks off the week of the Book Fair.  It is an event that brings the entire Lower School community together to eat, shop, and play.  

The Homecoming Ice Cream Social is a time during homecoming festivities to provide ice cream free of charge for all who attend.  

The Fall Parent Social is an opportunity for parents to get together off campus for an evening of socializing, with no agenda other than getting to know each other and having a good time!

The Lower School Father Daughter Dance is held to give our dads a special night with their daughters.  Dads and daughters dress up in cocktail attire, and dads have an opportunity to purchase a corsage for their "dates".  

The Lower School Mother Son Event has typically been a bowling, arcade, or minigolf event held to give our moms a special afternoon with their sons. 

The Lower School Book Share Coordinator oversees and coordinates the collection of books, sorts them by age and genre, and supervises class visits to the Book Share, where students can purchase the donated books. 

Middle School and Upper School families donate gently used middle-grade and young adult fiction and nonfiction. Students who donate books are entered into a gift card raffle and are given first selection of the donated books. All students are given the opportunity to bring home a "new to them" book..

The Women's Tennis Social event brings women together for a fun morning of tennis, socializing, and a fabulous lunch!

The Faculty Appreciation Luncheon Chairs plan an annual luncheon for all faculty and staff on the SA campus to express our appreciation for all they do for our children. Due to the large number of people involved, planning for this event often begins months before the luncheon itself.

This breakfast, held just before Commencement, honors the parents of graduating seniors and is an opportunity to reminisce, share stories, and celebrate this exciting milestone together.
