BA and MA theses
BA and MA theses
I supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses in microeconomics, mainly in behavioral economics, experimental economics, and sports economics.
I encourage students to write their theses in English, this is my preferred option.
If you would like me to be your supervisor, please be ready to meet a few expectations. I usually expect more from students than is common. You will need to build an econometric regression model in your thesis and use citation software (I recommend Zotero) to manage your sources properly.
Before I agree to supervise your thesis, I ask you to send me a short project proposal (about one A4 page). In this document, you should show that you have already used Zotero to work with relevant literature and that you have found a verified data source you can use in your thesis.
I enjoy helping students work on new and interesting topics. If your results are strong, I am open to working together to publish the thesis as a scientific article.
It is important to stay in touch regularly. I receive many requests and have limited time, so please contact me early. You are welcome to email me or meet me during office hours (by appointment) if you would like to discuss possible topics.
