Travels
Travels
In my free time, away from the delightful company of my wife and three children, I immerse myself in my passion for travel. Over the years, I've had the privilege of exploring a myriad of destinations, ranging from the captivating landscapes of Kyrgyzstan, Peru, and Bolivia to the remote charm of Svalbard, the tropical allure of Hawaii, and the cultural richness of Morocco and Malaysia, among other fascinating locales.
Sports
In my formative years, I immersed myself in a diverse array of sports. I dedicated a significant portion of my time to floorball, proudly representing Sportcentrum, Sparta Prague, and Black Angels during my youth and junior years. As a pupil, I also explored the world of baseball.
Upon entering college, my sporting pursuits evolved, with a newfound passion for Ultimate Frisbee. I wholeheartedly engaged in this exhilarating sport, proudly playing for TREE and Terrible Monkeys. Additionally, I took part in recreational minor league soccer, showcasing my skills in Hanspaulka and Strahov League matches.
Following a period of knee surgery, I adjusted my focus to sports that offered a more gentle impact on my joints. This led me to discover the pleasures of cycling and running, providing a refreshing and balanced approach to staying active and fit.
Scouting
Finally, it's important to note that I dedicated several years to leading a scout group and later overseeing a scout troop. The scout movement stands out as an excellent platform for young individuals to embark on adventures and develop into well-rounded individuals. Presently, owing to time constraints, my involvement is primarily focused on organizing family camps tailored for scout leaders and their young children. Despite the limitations, I remain committed to fostering a sense of adventure and personal growth within the scout community, even if it's through more family-centric initiatives.
