In 2010/2011 Stephen McNeill facilitated the recording of the life stories of a number of local people for Offaly History.  The recordings took place in Offaly History, Bury Quay, Tullamore in late 2010 and early 2011. John Flanagan, Joe Kenny, Dorothy Oakley, Brian Hughes and Sr. Oliver Wrafter contributed to the recordings.  Stephen took part as well. The oral histories were recorded and edited by Aidan Barry.
