Hi, my name is Carsyn and I am a high school senior. I live in Northwest Indiana and my mission is to take on a project to earn my Girl Scout Gold Award. I am president of the French club at my high school, where I have taken French classes for the past four years. Additionally, I founded the HOSA club at my high school, which focuses on career paths for student looking for a career in medicine.

I hope to become an optometrist when I finish college to help give back to my community. I have attended various leadership conferences, in hopes of gaining summer knowledge to aid me in my career path. These conferences have taken me from universities, such as UC Berkeley (2019) and all the way to Oxford University in London (2021). This new leadership project will help my mission to help others and gain a better understanding of the surrounding needs of my community.
