so I ended up downloading the standard vst version of the plugin and it is working so far fine it maintains it tuning when reloading gig performer. Any thoughts on this @dhj. as this seems to be a vst 3 thing or may be just coincidence

I still have the problem here.

My arturia plugin are detuned and it detunes hardware synth as well. It happens sometimes. And this is when there is modifications on the patch.

Any ideas ?

I was so intent on explaining these synths, I forgot to explain. These vocal synths were all developed by the same people, with MUTA succeeding NiaoNiao, and AISingers succeeding MUTA. They have an eco system between them with their file compatibility, with two special NiaoNiao editors specifically to make AISingers files.

For a project, I wanted to make a basic synth that would manipulate my voice in realtime as I played notes on a midi keyboard. So far this is what I have but it doesn't work how I wanted it to.

on my computer, your abstraction [chord] is not being loaded, but rather one of pd-extended default objects which is also named chord. I suggest you change the name of your abstraction to something else, like [myChord]

I can have a look on your patch some other time if you don't mind, today I am very busy. But as far as I know, a vocoder algorithm is much more complex than a simple ring modulation, and you can't expect to get those cool effects like the ones used by Kraftwerk and Daft Punk by using the latter (and that is what you are using on your patch). Most vocoder algorithms I have seen use some form of FFT analysis, and this is something more advanced than simple AM and FM modulations. Have a look on those Porres's examples, he has some really cool ones about vocoders (and to be honest, I am promising to study these algorithms in depth myself for long time since I do not understand the theory well at all).

ive been into vocaloid + vocal synths for almost 10 years now...! although i had a little while where i fell out of the interest (mostly out of fear of being cringe lol) i really do love the technology and the characters and most importantly the music :3 hoping to share some of my favs and hopefully Someone will also enjoy them

synths + voicebanks in terms of actual synthesisers. unless something drastic changes, vocaloid is always going to be the one people know/think of/associate with vocal synthesisers but there are so many especially recently which i think is really cool :) in terms of preference though... i really love utau despite it not being. as easy to use compared to vocaloid (and i really dont know much at all about cevio/synth v etc) & i really adore its engine noise... also respect to chipspeech because i both deeply respect what they have done and i have fond memories of following its release.

despite that! my fav voicebank is gumi LOL... i do adore her voice but id be lying if i wasnt very attached to her as a "character" too. i also obviously like miku for similar reasons... and also the sheer amount of stuff made with miku that i love. i also have soft spots for flower, SF-A2 miki, galaco and sonika. my fav utau are probably sekka yufu, hakaine maiko & defoko. in terms of others... i love one and acme iku too :3

also shoutout to the pocket miku because i think its sooooo cute and i want one LOL... just having a physical mini version of her vb though its understandably somewhat limited given its size is just. neat :) the physicality of it is probably my favourite part. i wanna watch someone plug that thing into 5 million pedals and just fuck it up. im sure you could do a similar thing with the software but. i like the cute little box what can i say!

Namae Shirezu is a japanese synth created, voiced, and illustrated by Kurukuru Suuzi(who does not allow reposts of their art under any circumstances as far as im aware, which is why theres no picture of shirezu). shirezu was released in 2017. she is a part of the kuzutokaze synth group. she is missing both her arms

momochi minami is a japanese synth voiced by a DJ who wears a Kigurumi style mask. momochi minami the utau and momochi minami the DJ share name and appearance. momochi minami that utau was released in 2013 by SHINYUSHA for the utau starter pack and utau master pack. she is illustrated by harune-haru

madone momo is a japanese synth developed by SHINYUSHA for Windows100%, and released in 2011 (i said 2012 last year ?? im sorry it seems i was wrong). she is the first vb they developed, and shes available in their first issue, the 2011 april issue, and the utau starter pack. her vp is not known but her illustrator is kurafuto/ craft_kim 152ee80cbc
