This policy explains how US Apps handles information for Vocabulary Learn Max, its optional online League and this support website. Contact: info@us-apps.com · 0212 419 68 76.
The app stores your chosen topics, learning goal, collection, language and other preferences, saved words, personal notes, answers, results, learning progress, active sessions and daily free allowance on your device. These records make the learning features work. The app does not upload your personal study notes or learning history to our League server. Device backups or Apple services may include app data according to your system settings.
Regular learning does not require a separate Vocabulary Learn Max email-and-password account.
If you connect Game Center to enter the League, the app sends Apple-issued sign-in verification information and your Game Center display name to our server at apps.utkuapps.com over HTTPS. The verification information includes an Apple player identifier, app identifier, signature, public-key URL, salt and timestamp. The server verifies the sign-in and converts the player identifier into an app-specific pseudonymous identifier for its records.
We store that pseudonymous identifier, your public nickname, challenge and attempt identifiers, question and selected answer identifiers, submission and completion times, attempt status and scores. This supports one ranked attempt per challenge, resuming an attempt, fair scoring and daily and weekly leaderboards.
Your nickname, rank, score and app-specific player identifier can be returned in public leaderboard results. Your own result is also available when you are authenticated. Do not use sensitive personal information in a public Game Center nickname.
Apple handles subscription payment, restoration and subscription management. The app reads Apple-verified purchase and entitlement information, such as product, expiry and revocation status, to provide Premium access. We do not collect your payment-card details in the app or send your Apple purchase transactions to the League server.
For new in-app purchases, the app supplies an app-specific installation identifier as StoreKit’s appAccountToken. Our purchase-notification service processes Apple-signed purchase and subscription events, including associated purchase identifiers and status, separately from the League. We use this information to operate subscriptions and measure the results of our own advertising as explained below.
Refund data sharing is off until you explicitly allow it in Settings → Refund data sharing. If you allow it, the app sends your choice, the disclosure version and an Apple-signed transaction to our refund service. When Apple requests information to review a refund, we may provide purchase information, acknowledged Premium delivery and the availability of free sample content. We do not share your learning words, personal notes, answers or study activity through this refund feature.
Sharing is optional and does not affect Premium access or your ability to request a refund. Apple decides refund requests; we do not promise any outcome. You can turn sharing off in Settings. Your choice is saved on your device and synchronization is retried when a verified purchase and an internet connection are available. Changes take effect on our server when synchronization succeeds and do not retract information already sent.
Pronunciation uses Apple speech synthesis and device voices, with temporary local audio files. The app does not record your microphone or upload speech recordings to a third-party speech service.
Word lessons and reminders use local notifications after you allow them. Notification preferences and pending actions are stored locally. Word content may appear on the lock screen or a paired Apple Watch according to your Apple notification settings. We do not operate a remote push service for these reminders or collect push tokens. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
Online requests reach our hosting infrastructure and include network information such as an IP address. The League service uses a temporary, hashed IP-derived value to limit abuse; its app database does not store raw IP addresses. Hosting providers may separately process access logs and backups for operating and securing the service.
We measure the performance of our own Apple Ads campaigns. The app creates a random identifier for this installation and sends it to our attribution service. Through Apple AdServices attribution, Apple may provide campaign, ad group and keyword identifiers and other available attribution information. We link the installation identifier with the appAccountToken in verified App Store purchase events to understand which of our advertisements lead to installations, purchases and subscription events.
This system does not use IDFA or a cross-app identifier and does not send your learning words, personal notes or answers for advertising measurement. The app does not display third-party advertisements. Apple may process information when you use its platform services under the Apple Privacy Policy.
If you contact support, we receive the contact details and content you choose to send and use them to respond and investigate the issue. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
We use information to deliver learning features you request, verify Premium access, operate the League, measure our own advertising, process subscription events, prevent abuse and answer support requests. Our hosting and communication providers process information needed to run these services and operational purchase reports. Apple provides purchases, advertising attribution, Game Center, speech and device notification services. We do not sell personal information or use it to build advertising audiences. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the security of the service.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, requested services are provided to perform our agreement with you; security and support are supported by legitimate operational interests; optional permissions are handled through your choices; legal requirements may also apply. Rights and lawful bases depend on your location and the processing involved.
Local learning records remain until you reset them or remove the app, subject to device backups. Settings → Reset learning data clears local learning state and related pending reminders. It does not erase League records on our server and does not cancel Apple subscriptions.
Short-lived League authentication and abuse-prevention records expire and are cleaned up during subsequent server activity. League player, attempt and answer records do not currently have an automatic deletion schedule. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of League, advertising-attribution, purchase or support information; we may need to verify ownership and consider any applicable legal or security requirements. There is no in-app server-account deletion control.
You can change your preferences, manage saved words and notes, turn off notifications, avoid optional League participation and manage your Apple subscription. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your data, withdraw consent where used, or complain to a privacy regulator. Send requests to info@us-apps.com. A local reset and subscription cancellation are separate actions.
The League uses HTTPS and verified sign-in, but no online system or storage method is completely secure. Apple and hosting or support providers may process information in countries other than yours under their applicable arrangements. Vocabulary Learn Max is designed for general English and exam-vocabulary learners; it is not specifically directed to young children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed.
