"Mr. Torres,
Thank You so much for your endless kindness and for writing my letters of recommendation. I have decided to to attend Kent State University to study special education with a minor in ASL. You have been a huge inspiration to me and I cannot Thank You enough."

Colleague Feedback
"Victor,
Even though we do not work together much, I am always so impressed and in awe of you. Your expertise of your area of specialty, your care and attention of the students you work with, your friendly demeaner, the extra that you do for families. You are a tremendous asset to your district and your work does not go unnoticed. "

"I just wanted to let you know that it was because of the few times I subbed in your class that made my decision to become an paraeducator."-Message from a Paraeducator
"I can't get enough of this guy's fist bumps and positive attitude. He ALWAYS takes the time to say hello and it means a lot!"--Anonymous Colleague
"Victor creates unique learning opportunities for all of his students. He reaches out to programs/teachers at other schools to make sure he is providing authentic learning experiences and helping to create friendship opportunities for his students."-Anonymous Colleague
"Victor brings an infectious energy into the building! Not only is he great with his students, but he is firmly committed to helping colleagues grow while being driven to give as much as possible to others! He is a life-long learner, and our school is better because of him!!! "-Anonymous Colleague
An AHS Teacher recently reached out to Gazette staffers stating, “I'd like to recognize Victor Torres for helping me so much this year with students by modifying assessments and meeting with me to suggest ways to help each learner. None of these students are "his caseload" so to speak, so he's helping me out of the goodness of his heart. He has a heart of gold and gives 100% to his students, and it's so apparent to me. I regret that I’ll be teaching at Harmon and not able to see his students on their Halloween trick-or-treat day as I always like to see the students in their costumes and mingling with other teachers and students in the hallways!” Thanks to (Teacher Name) for taking the time to celebrate a colleague, and thanks to the man of many hats including the 2022-2023 ACSD 6-12 SPED Department Chair, Victor Torres! AHS appreciates your eagerness to learn, lead and help all learners grow. -Anonymous Colleague
"Incredible. 'Nuff Said!"-Anonymous Colleague
"He goes above and beyond with students"-Anonymous Colleague
"Victor is non-stop and straight up dedicated to everything he does. This guy always has a meeting to go to! He is a great professional and always takes time to help someone wherever he can. He builds great relationships with the kids he teaches and coaches, and always makes sure they come first. I enjoy his sense of humor and his honesty every day"-Anonymous Colleague
"Victor is so passionate about teaching and learning. He asks questions about areas of the education with which he is less familiar and works so hard toward his administrative license. He stops by my classroom to check on my day and share stories, which I always appreciate. We all need those people on whom we can count, and Victor is one of those people for me"-Anonymous Colleague
