April 23rd: we celebrate a special double occasion: International Book Day and the anniversary of the birth (and death) of the great William Shakespeare!
As part of the eTwinning project "Virtual Museum Night 2025," students from class 2^ C have immersed themselves in Shakespeare's masterpiece "Romeo and Juliet" through an educational journey that led them to create multimedia products dedicated to both the great English playwright and the iconic lovers of Verona. It's an opportunity to explore universal themes, unforgettable characters, and the power of Shakespeare's language, connecting classical literature with digital skills and international collaboration thanks to eTwinning
We created an infographic highlighting the most important information about Shakespeare's life and works. We gathered the information and then, working collaboratively, we synthesized a graphic product using Canva
We particularly focused on Romeo and Juliet, a tragedy set in Verona. Through collaborative workshop activities, we created ID cards for the protagonists
One workshop activity that really engaged us was becoming journalists for a day. We tried to take a leap into the past and imagine how reporters of that era might have covered the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, had newspapers existed. With a bit of imagination, we wrote this true crime article
Using the power of AI and Genially, we playfully created an interactive box featuring Romeo and Juliet, the two lovers immortalized by the great William Shakespeare.
