Virtual Museum Night is an ongoing eTwinning project which has been connecting European schools for four years now.
Museum Night is an event in Croatia, held on the last Friday in January, when all the museums open their doors from 7 PM to midnight, and receive visitors with no entrance fee. Many museums and other institutions join the event with various special programs for visitors.
Each year for the last four years, we join the Museum Night program with our virtual exhibition too.
In our eTwinning project, students from different European schools, under the watchful eye of their teachers, connect in international teams and let their creativity loose to make different museum pieces. These museum pieces are then combined into a virtual exhibition in a new museum room on our Virtual Museum Night page.
Each year we choose a different topic and let our creative juices flow. This year, our topic is Renaissance, and we're looking forward to some amazing museum pieces.
