The championship will be run similarly to Kingdom Arts & Science.
A single entry only in each of the three categories. (You made sent your entry, you do not have to be present to enter or win)
Static
Performance
Research
That simply means you may enter up to three entries, once in each category only.
(An entry may have been shown at any local levels but not at another Kingdom level or Interkingdom competition.)
Documentation is required
All research papers much be submitted two weeks prior to the event (the event is May 31st, so research papers are due no later than May 17th) so that judges have time to thoroughly read and judge these entries.
Static and performance documentation may be submitted early if ready but is not required until the event date.
Pre-registration for the competition is highly recommended. (See Pre-registration link below)
This competition will be a hybrid of judging and face to face discussions (if you so wish for this).
This means that the judges will read your documentation, start writing comments, then text/find you, if possible, for a time to discuss your entry.
All are welcome to enter the competition, but only residents of the Principality or holders of the Saguine (Red) Bowl may be named champion.
Site considerations
When considering your entries, please remember that the VMA II site is primitive.
Tents will be on site for our use in case of weather with walls.
There is only very limited electricity or water available and you must supply your own extension cord if needed. (Please consider a Jackery or other similar type portable charging station if truly needed.)
Tables will be provided but you much bring your own chairs.
Displays only are welcome as well.
Direct all inquiries in relationship to the competition to myself.
