Siege Authorizing for Engineers | 1:00 PM, Siege Field
Taught by Viscountess Caterina Giovanni and Mistress Colleen O’Kelly
This class will teach participants what they need to know to be members of a siege team. Class topics will include the types of siege devices, ammunition used, how to operate an engine, how siege engine ammunition damages combatants and structures on the battlefield, armor requirements, and knowledge of the rules of melee combat.
No materials are required for this class, however, armor is strongly encouraged for participants who have it available. This practice is hands-on and is an opportunity to familiarize yourself with running a siege engine safely and efficiently.
Class attendees will be authorized siege engineers at the end of the class.

This class will cover the types of people best suited for a siege team (hint: it’s a more inclusive way to get on the battlefield than you might think!), the different jobs on a siege team, what the siege team members will do on the battlefield, how the members of a siege team will work together on the battlefield, and how to be successful.

Catapults | 3:00 PM
Who doesn't love flinging things? We will make our own catapults and take them to the range to fire them! Youth under 8 years old MUST have an adult helper as this is a woodworking activity.
