Serial Port configuration on the PC:

If you make the same mistake that I've made and attached the radio to your windows PC and installed the driver before hand, you need to uninstall the driver and follow the distraction given in the ICOM IC-7300 manual. You need to install the driver of the CD first, before you attach the radio to the PC (USB).
