·    Our college has a central library on the first floor that covers about 3000 square feet in size. The Library hold more than 25000 volumn books which are classified according to DDC 23rd ed. and cataloguing is done according to AACR 2R (rev. ed.). Library hold 11 magazines and 33 journals title, namely, Economic and Political Weekly (EPW), Science Reporter, Science and Culture, Competition Success Review (CSR), Current Science, Current Affairs, Protiyogita Kiran, Peshaprobesh, and Rong Route, etc. Other than the above-mentioned journals, the library has  institutional membership in the N-List journal database since 2017. Through N-list, we can access the e-Shodh Sindhu database. And our library also has institutional membership in the NDLI and provides remote access for our users. 

    Our library is partially automated with Integrated Library Management software (ILMS) Koha since 2017. We upgraded our ILMS from local host to cloud host with Koha (22.11.02.000 Rosalie) in 2022. The user can access webOPAC.

 Our library is divided into different sections, as mentioned below for better service and to maintain daily housekeeping jobs:

• Reference books section

• Journal, Magazine, and Newspaper section

• New arrivals section

   We have a special collection on Braille Books, Competitive Examinations books, College and our teachers publications etc.

Library Committee

There is an Advisory Committee for the Library, namely ‘Library Sub-Committee’ which is created by the Governing Body. The committee looks after the purchase of books, journals and suggests necessary measures of development to the Governing Body. It consists of all HODs .
