Reiki was first introduced by Dr. Mikao Usui in 18^th century. During his deep meditation in the Mountain Koriyama in Japan, Dr. Usui enlightened on 21^st day with divine power empowered him with divine symbols. He started using these symbols to heal the peoples of Japan. He coined this powerful energy in the form of symbols as Reiki. In Japanese language ‘Rei’ means ‘Universal’ and ‘Ki’ means ‘Life force energy’.

Reiki is the Universal Life Force energy which we all have from the moment we took birth. We are all growing with this Life force energy. The way to use it has to be understood to improve our own health as well as our beloved one’s health. Reiki attunement or initiation is the special process in our healing system which the students experience at various levels. From the moment he/she took initiation the journey begins with the Reiki. This system is completely dealt with powerful symbols. Once the student received attunement, the life force energy starts flowing from crown chakra to the heart chakra then to the hands. Using this life force along with symbols can heal any being and make the system to come to the balanced condition.
