Terms of Use for Calculator BMI

Welcome to Calculator BMI (the "App"), operated by VitalLog ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

1. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER (IMPORTANT)

THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. The Calculator BMI mobile application is designed solely for informational, educational, and fitness tracking purposes. 

• The calculations (Body Mass Index) and results provided by the App are based on standardized formulas and statistical averages. They do not constitute medical diagnoses, clinical advice, or professional treatment plans.

• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or calculated within this App.

• Consult with a physician or qualified healthcare provider before making any drastic changes to your diet, exercise routine, or weight management program, especially if you have underlying health conditions, are pregnant, or are under the age of 18.

2. Description of Service and Purchases

• Base Version: The App is provided free of charge and is supported by interstitial advertisements displayed during screen transitions.

• Premium Subscriptions: We offer a Premium version that removes advertisements and unlocks additional features. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed, billed, and managed securely via Google Play Billing and RevenueCat.

• Cancellation and Refunds: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play Account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's standard refund policies.

3. Privacy and Local Data Storage

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All physical data (weight, height, age, gender) is stored locally on your device or within your personal Google Drive (if the optional backup is enabled). You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your mobile device and your Google account.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VitalLog shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes, but is not limited to, physical injury, health complications, data loss, or system errors. You use the App entirely at your own risk.

5. Age Restrictions

By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. The standard BMI formulas used in the App are intended for adults and may not accurately reflect weight categories for developing children or teenagers.

6. Changes to Terms

 We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
