Privacy Policy for Calculator BMI

Effective Date: July 19, 2026

VitalLog ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Calculator BMI mobile application (the "App").

1. Information Collection and Local Storage

The App is designed to prioritize user privacy.

• Physical and Health Data: To calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) and maintain a weight history, the App requests your age, gender, height, and weight. This data is stored strictly locally on your device using an isolated Room (SQLite) database and DataStore. We do not operate a central backend server, and we never transmit or store your health data on our own servers.

• Account Registration: The App functions entirely without user account registration or social sign-ins.

2. Optional Cloud Backup (Google Drive)

The App includes an optional backup feature. If you choose to enable it, the App will request access to your personal Google Drive account solely to create and read its own configuration and history backup files. We do not have access to any other files or folders in your Google Drive, and we never collect, store, or transmit your Google account credentials.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Collection

To provide core functionality, analytics, monetization, and subscription management, the App integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). These third parties may collect device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID) and technical logs:

• Google Play Services: Used for core application infrastructure and functionality.

• Google AdMob: Used to serve interstitial advertisements in the free version. AdMob may collect and use your Google Advertising ID to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

• Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): Used anonymously to monitor application stability, collect crash logs, and analyze feature usage to improve the user experience.

• RevenueCat: Used to manage, process, and validate Premium subscriptions. It processes anonymous transaction data and subscription status.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in using our App. Since all personal health data remains on your physical device, the security of that data depends on your device's security settings. For data transmitted via third-party SDKs, we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protection, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. User Rights and Data Control

Because your data is stored locally, you maintain absolute control over it. You can at any time:

• Permanently delete all physical and health history directly within the App settings.

• Disconnect the App from your Google Drive and delete the backup file.

• Reset or limit ad tracking by changing your Google Advertising ID settings in your Android system preferences.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child is using this App and providing data, please note that all such data remains localized to the device unless manually backed up to Google Drive.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
