Pain gets your attention.
Tension gets your attention.
Restricted movement gets your attention.
The first question is often:
How do I get rid of it?
I like to start somewhere else.
What is actually happening?
Pain tells you that something is happening.
But it doesn't always tell you why.
That's where we start looking.
Where do you feel it?
When did it start?
When does it get worse?
What makes it better?
What else changes when the pain changes?
Sometimes the obvious place to look is the right place.
Sometimes it isn't.
The goal isn't to guess.
It's to investigate.
I use hands-on therapy and acupressure to explore what your body responds to.
We don't have to know the answer before we begin.
We can test.
Apply pressure.
Create movement.
Release tension.
Observe what changes.
Did the pain change?
Can you move differently?
Does something feel easier?
Every response gives us new information.
Then we decide where to look next.
Therapy can start with many different physical complaints.
Back or neck pain.
Shoulder problems.
Restricted movement.
Muscle tension.
Recurring physical discomfort.
Or simply something in your body that doesn't feel right.
You don't need to know what's causing it.
That's what we explore.
You don't have to know.
Tell me what you're experiencing.
Tell me what you've noticed.
Tell me what you've already tried.
We can start there.
