BREAKING NEWS ON POLYHALITE WORLDWIDE
June 2024
Brand new launch of info on polyhalite
The company (ICL) that built and runs the polyhalite mine near the hamlet of Boulby in England just released a treasure trove of updated information about polyhalite. They call it "polysulphate," but that is another name for the same thing, referring to the fact that polyhalite is made of three different kinds (potassim, calcium, and magnesim) of sulfate.
I actually don' t know exactly when they released it, but in the six months it took me to make this Vision of Polyhalite website, I was searching all around Internet, and never saw it until this month, so it must've been pretty recently.
It's a straightforward and concise source for learning all about the benefits of this amazing crop nutrient. I only wish it had been around six months ago – it would've made my job of making this website so much easier. Here is the link to it:

Hostile Takeover?
Something really amazing is happening right now. In these last weeks before publishing the site, there has been a lot of news about the polyhalite sector.
One of the main companies poised to introduce polyhalite's use as a sustainable crop nutrient on a global scale is being threatened by a hostile takeover, and the polyhalite is right at the center of it. This company, called Anglo American was investing a lot in an eco-friendly system to bring polyhalilte up from a mile deep within the earth while keeping the forest and lands above intact. Everything done for sustainability. What could be a stronger strategy? And yet the financial world has remained skeptical, seeing the investments in the polyhalite project as a vulnerability.
But I don't believe Anglo American's polyhalite project will fail. I have the vision, from that empathetic therapsid, that polyhalite will be key to ushering in the sustainable new age of agriculture. And the leaders at Anglo Amercian share the same vision. It is one of the five largest mining companies in the world, and a very special one, committed to sustainability. Since his appointment as CEO in 2020, Duncan Wanblad has been shifting the pillars of the company over to three substances that are key for environmentally friendly solutions: copper, environmentally clean steel, and polyhalite.
Copper is necessary for solar panels, for the electrical generators that will go into windmills, and in the devices to capture energy from swells in the ocean. It's also necessary to convert electricity into movement – to power electric trains, subways, and other vehicles for transport. All the envisioned developments for clean energy are based on copper, a miracle element for sustainability.
Steel, more specifically, environmentally clean steel, is also key for sustainablity. Since humans moved out of the Bronze Age, steel has been the go-to element of choice for all sorts of applications from kitchen knives to bridges, tunnels, cars, kitchen sinks and myriad other uses. Anglo American has developed processes for creating steel that are environmenally clean. They are using iron ore from their Minas-Rio mine in Brazil as feedstock for direct reduced iron (DRI) production, which is significantly less carbon-intensive than traditional blast furnaces!
Polyhalite, Anglo American's third prong is polyhalite, which is, as explained all over this website, the crop nutrient of the future. So there you have it – copper, environmentally cleat steel, and polyhalite. A three-pronged basis for sustainability for the future. It's the company of choice for anyone who wants a better world for our children. And their children.
In the links below, you can see how the CEO of Anglo- merican, Duncan Wandblad, is saying that he is committed to shiftin his company over to these there three pillars, and will pioneer the global introduction of polyhalite in agriculture, the organic sustainable agricultural mineral of the future. To focus on these three pillars, he is spinning off other products, like diamonds.
That is just totally awesome. No one has ever said it better: "Ditch the diamonds, go for sustainability." Not that there is nothing wrong with diamonds, of course, but the focus on solutions for sustainability is so highly commendable.
That's why am saying, Anglo American must come out on top. They have the vision, the same vision that I share, the same vision that I think my readers share. You like a good drama? Do you like to learn new things?
