Working as a part of the Datapath team in Bengaluru. Work is largely related to Cohesity's internal distributed database.

One of 4 teaching assistants for the NPTEL(National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) Reinforcement learning course taught by Dr. Balaraman Ravindran. We were required to design weekly assignments and the final exam question paper and answer doubts on the online forum asked by any of the 2000+ students enrolled in the course in a prompt manner.

Tested suitability of Kafka connectors for Azure Event Hubs partition allocation based on cost-effective usage in existing pipeline. I also worked on reducing network costs/calls incurred due to database queries for the purpose of real time speeding event detection based on data obtained from vehicles and open source map.

To identify genetic sequences by developing algorithms using locality sensitive hashing to improve the time taken by existing algorithms on very large databases without a significant decrease in accuracy or an increase in the number of samples required.

Worked on developing a game engine for a checkers based game known as Konane. The techniques used were based on the mini-max algorithm, with further optimisations such as alpha-beta pruning and other game specific pruning.
