I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. My group develops power electronic converters, magnetic components, and control methods for electric vehicle charging, battery energy storage, and DC and AC microgrids. Our work combines analytical modeling, design, and experimental validation.
Our research spans multiport and partial-power converters, soft-switching, high-frequency magnetics, and the control and stability of interconnected power electronic systems.
Before joining IISc in September 2020, I worked at GE Research in Bengaluru and Niskayuna, USA. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
