Virtual Threads consists of families who use the Tapestry of Grace curriculum.
We offer Dialectic (middle school) and Rhetoric (high school) level discussions of
Literature
History/Church History
and have in the past offered Art Appreciation and Ancient Political thought, depending on interest and parent capacity. We are interested in hosting a Grammar level class.
Tapestry of Grace is written from a Reformed Evangelical Christian perspective, and this Biblical worldview shapes our discussions.
While families may differ on secondary doctrinal issues, we share a common commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ and historic Christianity. Students are encouraged to explore ideas thoughtfully and respectfully as they grow in maturity and conviction.
Homeschool families often bring diverse perspectives on education, parenting, and theology. We believe this diversity can be a tremendous strength when approached with humility and grace.
We seek to follow the biblical principles of Matthew 18:15-17 in maintaining unity and, when necessary, resolving conflicts within the group.
Our aim is always to treat one another with respect, patience, and love as we pursue the shared goal of educating our children well.
