The first object we need to create is a container that will "house" our database. This will allow us to store in an organised way all of the data and allow us to add, organise, view, manipulate, and retrieve the data.
Microsoft Support (2022) defines a database as "A database is a tool for collecting and organizing information. Databases can store information about people, products, orders, or anything else."
Windows (Start) > Access
Blank Database > Click the folder icon to "Browse for a location to put your database"
(Choose suitable location I have created a folder called DBMSTutorial)
Change filename to dbPersonnel_v1.accdb
[OK]
Click on [Create]
