This year’s edition of Virtual Museum Night is dedicated to Folklore, exploring the traditional stories, customs, beliefs, music, costumes, and symbols that shape cultural identity and collective memory. Folklore reflects the values, imagination, and everyday life of communities, passed down through generations through oral storytelling, rituals, art, and celebrations.

Through this theme, students explore their own cultural heritage while discovering similarities and differences across countries and regions. By reinterpreting folklore in a contemporary, digital context, they connect the past with the present and give traditional narratives a new voice. The project encourages creativity, critical thinking, and intercultural dialogue, allowing students to become active researchers and storytellers rather than passive observers of tradition.
