THE FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

(dated June 15, 2020)

This email is regarding a virtual mathematics conference ( Virtual Math Fest 2020 ) which is being organized during July 20-25, 2020. The entire program will be held on some online platform, such as Google Meet or Zoom. We plan to have 3 symposiums, one each on Algebra / Number Theory, Analysis / PDE, and Topology / Geometry / Dynamics.

We have an excellent line-up of invited talks by some of the finest researchers in India. Apart from the 3 symposiums, the conference will feature some plenary talks by eminent mathematicians and some interesting panel discussion sessions on various aspects of mathematics.

This conference is an excellent opportunity for young researchers to present their research. We have kept some slots, in each of the 3 symposiums, for research talks by postdoctoral fellows, PhD students, or even masters students. The talks should be based on his/her own research.

We are currently accepting applications from young researchers who want to present their research by giving a short talk. We request everyone interested to visit the website below and register at the earliest:

https://sites.google.com/view/virtualmathfest/home

The deadline for prospective speakers to submit registration form is June 30, 2020.

If someone just want to attend the conference, but does not intend to give a talk, he/she should also register in order to receive further announcements.

I would request you to kindly circulate this announcement among your students and colleagues, so that we can achieve maximum participation.

Thanks and regards,
