4-H Enrollment
If you are new to 4-H, the first step to joining 4-H is finding the right club. Club leader information is listed so you can contact the leaders and see which club is best suited for your family.
The new 4-H year is right around the corner. Enrollment for 2022-2023 for 4-H members and volunteers begins on October 1. The new list of 4-H projects can be found in the 4-H Clover publication, available at the extension office and soon on the MO 4-H website. Enrollment is online here https://v2.4honline.com/ .
If club leaders would like me to attend a meeting to help with enrollment and to pass out clovers please email me so we can make a plan, amsdenk@missouri.edu.
Salem 4-H Club
We are excited to announce that the Salem 4-H Club has a new leader. Welcome to the team Annie Morris! They will be having a club meeting on Wednesday, September 13th at 6:30 pm at the meeting at North County Primary Library.
Trailblazers 4-H Club
The Trailblazers 4-H Club kept busy this summer by selling lemonade at the SFC Fair and had a campout at St. Francis State Park. Their next meeting will be Sept 6th at 6pm at Owl Creek Feed Store.
The Farmington Farmers wrapped up the summer with a swim and pizza party at the Ste. Genevieve water park. Their next meeting will be Thursday, September 25th at 6 pm at the Weber road facility. They are also planning to kick off the new year with a to kick off the new 4-H year with a hayride and costume contest October 15th at the Hampton’s farm.
The Wild Bunch 4-H Club had 3 members compete at the Missouri State Fair with their poultry and sheep projects. They will have our kickoff bonfire and hayride in October.
Bear Creek Kidz had several kids participate in the Missouri State Fair this year and did very well. They will be having their first meeting in Sept to elect our new officers for the 2022-2023 and plan the year's events. They will be kicking off the year with a club camp out in October.
Welcome to the team! Rough and Rowdy 4-H Club is a brand new club and they are excited to get started! Club leader Melisa has been involved with 4-H programing through the Mineral Area Homeschool Community and is ready to take all that experience to this club. This club will be geared towards developing leadership, civic engagement and community service through all of their 4-H projects.
