Upendo Conservation Area
Raised the funds to provide the community with a new well
Provided funds to start a native tree nursery
Assistance with the identification of frogs, snakes, birds, and small mammals
Development of individuals and teams that can conduct community education programs about snakebite prevention
Preparation of educational materials for teaching snakebite prevention including a training manual
Creation of educational posters of the species found in the conservation area
Creation of the website for the conservation area including resource pages available to all
Fundraising for all of these projects from donors in the US, including a grant from the Sophie Danforth Conservation Biology Fund

Educate and communicate about snakes and snakebite envenomation through WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger
Development of individuals and teams that can conduct community education programs about snakebite prevention
Preparation of educational materials for teaching about snakes and snakebite
Assistance to some snakebite survivors and families of victims based on need
Creation of the website include resource pages available to all
Fundraising for all of these projects from donors in the US
Similar projects are currently ongoing with the Kenya Western District of the Church of the Nazarene and a Nazarene pastor in Malawi.
