Middle Schools

Hi!

This is my first year at Grandview and I am so excited to be a part of this community. I was born and raised in St. Louis and came to Kansas City for college. I fell in love with this city and once I graduated, I just never left! I attended Rockhurst University for undergrad and later received a Masters in Social Work from KU. I have a passion for working with middle school and high school students, encouraging them and advocating for them as they achieve their goals. I believe everyone could use a little extra support sometimes, and my goal is to be that support for as many students and families as I can.

Some of my favorite things include my adorable baby niece, hiking, travelling, KC BBQ, and arts and crafts. There is no doubt that I will have some DIY projects in my office!

My name is Ginger Wilson, and this is my second year in the middle schools of Grandview as a Family Resiliency Navigator. I am a huge Kansas State Wildcat fan, mental health advocate, and a Green Bay Packers fan! I also love the Chiefs, don’t worry! My favorite thing to do after a day of work is go on a long walk with my terrier mix, George. I am obsessed with my 2 nieces and nephews, and could talk about them for hours if you would let me. I have about 5 years of experience in case management and have loved working with the Grandview community.
