Spanjolski susreti, “Spanish Encounters” is a book written in Croatian by the author August Cesarec who was a member of the Yugoslav Communist Party. It is believed that this man was sent to Spain in 1937 to write about what was happening there. In order to do that he enlisted in the International Brigades in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939).

In this video a Spanish journalist, interested in this war, comes across the book about the war written in Croatian by August Cesarec and she decides to investigate more about the life and the writings of this Croatian author. Therefore she travels to Zagreb to track his life...
