Course Policies

The Paramedic Refresher will be delivered exclusively by Zoom Video Conference. Students must have access to broadband- high speed internet, a computer capable of running Zoom Video Conferencing, webcam, and microphone. Paramedic Refresher Course Class Size Limits: Space in the Paramedic Refresher is limited. Each Paramedic Refresher Course is limited, by the NAEMT, to 10 students per NAEMT instructor (10:1 ratio). This series of Paramedic Refresher Courses has a maximum student capacity of 20 students per session.

Precourse Materials/Assignments: Each Paramedic Refresher Course has Precourse Materials and required Precourse Assignments. These materials and assignments will be emailed to students enrolled in each Paramedic Refresher Course two weeks before the start of their Course. Precourse assignments must be completed and returned before the first day of class. Failure to submit the precourse assignments will result in failure to complete the Paramedic Refresher Course. No refunds will be issued due to failure to complete the Paramedic Refresher precourse assignments. Students who are unable to complete the course or coursework may complete the course in a future session depending on space availability.

Absence/Missed Class Policy: Students must attend 100% of the Paramedic Refresher course in-person in real-time via Zoom video conference during their scheduled class session. Students who miss class or are absent may make-up the missed class in a future session or may request a make-up session scheduled with an instructor at a later time for a fee.

Cancellation Policy: Registered students may cancel their registration up to two weeks before the start of their Paramedic Refresher session for a full-refund less merchant and transaction fees. Registration can be transferred to another student at anytime before the start of your Paramedic Refresher session. However, the new student must complete and submit the precourse assignments before the first day of class. (See the Precourse Materials/Assignments section above.)
