If you would like to provide PD content to add to this website, review the following information and guidelines.
Offerings should be presented for a broad audience and avoid elements that are division- or school-specific.
Please be sensitive to restrictions some divisions have on digital tools teachers are allowed to use. When the topic is inherently tool-specific, make sure to name the tool in the title so teachers can choose offerings related to tools they can use. When possible, share general guidelines or examples from multiple apps or platforms.
We are looking for content in these three categories:
Virtual Learning Platforms: online tools, learning management systems, creating and managing instructional videos, platforms for online student art exhibitions
Virtual Learning Content: development, sharing, and/or organization of digital resources and lessons; integrating virtual museum tours and guest speakers with virtual learning; feedback and assessment
Learner Centered Virtual Environment: Setting up a home or virtual classroom; digital citizenship, online classroom management; student participation; equity & differentiation with distance learning
Content should be shared in a web-accessible mode for asynchronous learning. Examples include:
Video (recorded presentations, narrated slides, recorded webinar or round table, etc.) Posting to YouTube is recommended.
Website (original and/or linked content on selected topic)
Hyperdoc (Google docs, slides, etc. with learning activities and linked content)
