Upon the requirements for the above rulesets being met to a reasonable degree, the submission will be polled for the server’s consensus. For the poll to be successful in adding the submission, the positive votes must be greater than or equal to 70% of the votes submitted. Any ratio below 70:30, and the submission will no longer be considered. The polls for any submissions are created on the VLS server discord Polls channel. To have your vote counted, voters are required to sign on a voter’s document 2 weeks in advance prior to the poll’s initiation, to prevent skewing of results.
Any content not present on the server, that is canon to the Ace Attorney series, will be automatically accepted into the server, as long as it also follows the previous rules of content guidelines.
Music suggestions should be suggested in a lossless format with a source provided. It will greatly affect the probability of the music being accepted. For more information regarding audio formats, search online.
New content must fit minimum quality standards. As a rule of thumb, if you think lupadim will accept it, chances are, we won’t. Shitty content won’t be tolerated.
Said minimum quality standards involve the following for characters, in order of priority:
Correctly cropped, polished, character sprites, fully animated with speech and blinking;
Art style true to, or similar to the Ace Attorney style (3D model standards are more lax for this);
Characters suggested should preferably be at least loosely related to the Ace Attorney environment, as in related to crimes, investigations, etc;
Canon characters from the 3DS titles are also more lax for this in general. They are difficult and tedious to rip and it’s entirely understandable if their quality is not as good.
Said minimum quality standards involve the following for music and sfx:
Not too loud or painful to hear, as well as not quiet;
High sound quality (preferably a lossless download, with a source);
Fits thematically within the normal Ace Attorney OST;
Any content that is canon in the main series (as in, official and designed by CAPCOM for Ace Attorney) is considerably more lax, assuming it meets the conditions.
For non-official content or content unrelated to Ace Attorney, it will be reviewed by the users on the server with a poll;
Small additions may be accepted without the need of a review;
An addition is considered small if it consists of quality improvements to already existing content, additional animations to already existing characters and sfx that serve a clear purpose, and etc.
