• • As close as you can get to straight from the game; the scenario is preplanned and will generally contain the least deviation from the original script.

• Improvisation

  • Improvised cases will always result in a lot of mysteries. You are never sure what will happen, who you will cross-examine or when the detective will bring forth new pieces of evidence, that determine the fate of the case.

• Quick Casing Guidelines

  • A case is deemed a case on this server when it utilizes a competent “court records” reference/doc.

  • The prosecution should, at no point, ever cross examine the defense or witness.

  • Unless you are the detective, it’s important that as a witness, you have at least one contradiction in your testimony.

  • Only detectives have the right to verify asspulls. If there is no detective present, that responsibility falls to the judge.

  • For the 8PM case, anyone who commits the entire case as the stenographer role (and fulfills their duty) gets first dibs on the role they want on the doc the following day, for the 8 PM case (excluding repeat stenographing).

  • “Open cross-examination” is discouraged but allowed, with the exception of during premades.
