Virtu-L 12th Night will be hosting multiple social activities throughout the weekend!

Welcoming Address

Before all of the Saturday activities begin Their Excellencies of Montengarde and Castel Rouge would like to welcome guests from near and far in joining us for Virtu-L 12th Night. Special guest royalty and other baronials may also be in attendance.

Queen's Tea

Her Majesty Avacal, Sultana A'isha will be hosting a Queens Tea on Saturday and Sunday! Come visit with me in the Social Room from 9am to 11am MST! We can chat, hang out, drink tea, have breakfast and just visit. Everyone is welcome! Tea is optional. Coffee can be substituted. Or Shirley Temples if you are HE Blue!

Medieval Board Games

Join us in the Social Room where there will be multiple break out rooms available for playing medieval board and card games. Lots of games to choose from, pick your favourite or learn something new! These rooms will be available all hours that the social room is open.

Weakest Link - Trivia Challenge

Think you know enough about the Baronies of Montengarde and Castel Rouge as well as their home Kingdoms? Test your knowledge and try not to get voted as the Weakest Link!

Newcomer's Point

Are you new or newish to the SCA? Please join us for a virtual Newcomer’s Point at Virtu-L 12th Night from 11-4 MST / 12-5 CST on Saturday. This is a safe place to come get information, ask questions, or just hangout. All are welcome! Come to the Social Room and join the breakout room named Newcomer’s Point.

A&S Display Faire

Artisans will be strutting their stuff and showing off what they have been working on this covid year. If you missed signing up, limited spaces are still available (first come first dibs). Come visit with the artisans and see the amazing things they have been working on: 15th C Gauntlets, Tablet Weaving, Beadworking, Treasure Necklaces, German Ren Costuming, Egyptian Faience, and more! Youth Bardic

Join your host, Master Bjar the Blue (the Baron of Montengarde) for a bardic circle specifically to support youth. The youth attendees will have priority for performing; storytelling, songs, dances, poetry, puppetry, magic, drumming, etc. All forms of family friendly entertainment are welcome, period or otherwise. Adults are welcome to attend to support our youth as mentors, fellow performers or audience. Come and go format.

Virtu-L Feast

Is all of your feast gear gathering dust? Missing breaking bread with your friends?

Their Excellencies of Castel Rouge and Montengarde invite you to dinner. A Virtu-L Feast Menu has been prepared, or partake in your own favourite dishes. Garb is appreciated but not required. Come join them for this informal gathering to catch up with old friends and make some new ones!

The results of the Baron's Wager will be announced at some point during this culinary gathering.

Virtu-L Dance Party

Come get your dance on at the Virtu-L Dance Party! More information including the sets and instructions on the steps can be found on the Dance page .

Evening Bardic

Stir the Virtu-L fire and join your hosts for a classic evening bardic circle. Fill your mug or cup with the beverage of your choice to wet your whistle, and then be ready to perform or be entertained by the many bards and aspiring bards of Avacal, Northshield, and guests from other kingdoms eager to share their love of all things bardic. Youth are welcome with supervision of a parent or guardian, but the entertainment may get bawdy as the night progresses.
