By using any of the our products ("Application"), you ("User") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline the rules and guidelines for your use of the Application, developed based on Atlassian Forge and published on the Atlassian Marketplace. Please read these terms carefully before using the Application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, configuring, and using the Application, you automatically accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.

2. Application Overview

The Application is designed to help Confluence users translate pages using Deepl's external translation service. It offers a seamless way to translate content within Confluence, making it easier for users to reach global audiences.

3. Usage of the Application

The Application allows users to:

• Translate Confluence pages directly using Deepl’s API.

• Choose from a variety of languages for translations.

• Automatically integrate Deepl translation into your Confluence pages.

4. External Service Disclaimer

The Application relies on Deepl, a third-party translation service, for the translation of content. Any issues, limitations, or failures related to Deepl's API, services, or translation results are outside the control of the Application developers. We are not responsible for:

• Translation inaccuracies or errors.

• Limitations or downtime of the Deepl service.

• Any impact to the content formatting, layout, or integrity as a result of the translation process.

5. Configuration and Setup

It is the User's responsibility to properly configure the Application and ensure that it is used correctly. Incorrect configuration or improper use may lead to unexpected results, including:

• Errors in translation.

• Formatting issues in Confluence pages.

• Loss of content or page integrity.

We are not liable for any issues or damages that arise due to improper configuration or usage of the Application. It is recommended to thoroughly test the Application on a non-production environment before deploying it widely.

6. Data Privacy

The Application sends content to Deepl for translation purposes. By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your content will be transmitted to Deepl's servers for processing.

• Deepl’s privacy policy and terms of service apply to the data processed by their system.

• We do not store or retain your content beyond the scope of the translation process.

7. Limitations and Responsibilities

While we make every effort to ensure the Application works effectively, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. You agree that:

• The Application is provided "as is" and "as available".

• We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or issues arising from the use of the Application, including but not limited to errors in translations or disruptions to your Confluence environment.

8. Intellectual Property

The Application is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights to the Application and its contents are owned by the developer or its licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application solely within your Confluence environment.

9. Support and Updates

We provide support for the Application as outlined in the Atlassian Marketplace listing. We also reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the Application at any time without prior notice. You will be notified of significant updates through the Atlassian Marketplace.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Application developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application, including but not limited to data loss, business interruptions, or other economic losses.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application if we believe that you have violated these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, you must cease using the Application and remove it from your Confluence instance.

12. Amendments to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the Atlassian Marketplace listing. Your continued use of the Application after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law
