In June we hosted the International Workshop on Metrical Phonology at the University of Valencia, with Ryan Bennett (University of California Santa Cruz), René Kager (Utrecht) and Kevin Ryan (Harvard) as invited speakers. We had a lot of fun and interesting discussions related to metrical and prosodic structure, thanks to the project New Evidence for Internally Layered Ternary Feet: Theory and Applications of Prosodic Phonology, funded by Generalitat Valenciana, Conselleria de Educación, Universidades y Empleo (GE 2023, ref. CIGE/2022/114).

My paper with Jacques Koremen (NTNU) on the Spanish Computer-Assisted Speaking and Learning Tutor which allows to practice basic Spanish listening and pronunciation skills for beginners has been published in open access at the Spanish Journal of Applied Linguistics.
